Meet the PA

Hi there!

My name is Sarah, and I'm a pet mom, gardening fanatic, baseball lover, and national park enthusiast from Fort Worth, Texas. I joined Bookstagram in 2021 (@thebookishmusician), and mainly love to read fantasy, sci-fi, and a little bit of contemporary romance.

Before starting Behind the Pages, I taught middle school band in public education for 10 years (clarinet players, unite!). When I'm not reading, you can probably catch me binge watching Love Island and Grey's Anatomy, or taking care of my garden, which currently has more than 50 roses and many other plants that somehow survive the scorching Texas heat.

My husband, Josh, and I have 4 rescue dogs (Apollo, Zeus, Loki, and Bear), and 3 rescue cats (Abby, Leia, and Claude). They are truly the best!
